Making an impact beyond business

Amsted Industries workers across the globe serve our local communities. All of our businesses participate in community outreach programs that include volunteer projects, donation drives, charity events, and more. Toys for Tots, Boys & Girls Clubs, Habitat for Humanity, and community food banks are just a small sampling of the organizations we’ve worked with to help make our world a better place for all.

Amsted Foundation Matching Gift Program

The Matching Gift Program directs a portion of the Amsted Foundation’s resources to worthwhile organizations that are of greatest importance to our employees. Any combination of gifts to qualified organizations in the areas of education, health and human services, youth, civic, and culture and the arts will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Amsted Foundation, up to $5,000 per employee per year.

BAC: Just a Drop

The availability of clean water is critical to the safe operation of sustainable evaporative cooling equipment. BAC is engaged in making sure that clean and safe water is available to people worldwide, as it is essential to human development.

BAC partnered with Just a Drop on World Water Day in March 2018 to bring safe water and sanitation to communities worldwide. Since the partnership began, thousands of people have been reached with access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.

Spirit of ConMet

ConMet’s Community Services Committee was established to help the company look beyond business practices toward a “Service to Others” mindset, by coordinating local volunteering and other service opportunities for employees to participate in. The committee works to find projects that resonate among our people and encourage action, including animal rescue, bettering the environment, youth programs, and helping others with economic needs.

ConMet employees are asked to commit 8-16 hours of work time per year to service. Although this is completely voluntary, ConMet has found its employees’ commitment has gone beyond expectations, which they recognize with an annual “Spirit of ConMet” award presented to one outstanding employee volunteer who embodies the “Service to Others” mindset.
